Lalique Perfume Bottles
Lalique Perfume Bottles became a mainstay of the Lalique business after Lalique was chosen to design and produce lables and then bottles for Francois Coty the Perfumier.
Very early Lalique perfume bottles were designed by Rene Lalique but were made for him by Auguste J.F.Legras and some do not have a lalique mark but do have the Coty trademark..
Stoppers from this period are made in a two section mould which can usually be visible.
Usually the later lalique perfume bottles were frosted and a de luxe range of larger bottles were designed.
These are very much sought after and command a premium.
Later lalique perfume bottles for Roger et Gallet and other companies may have moulded nudes or nature subjects and some like his Cicada were moulded and engraved with the Lalique mark.
Lalique Perume bottles are much more valuable in their original boxes.
Replicas do exist but usually are not quite up to the normal Lalique standard.
