Lalique Art Deco Glass
Rene Lalique was the originator of many Art Deco Designs.
Typical motifs were patterns and lines and repeating visual patterns.
Foremost were his lamps ,sconces and chandeliers but he also produced some lovely art deco figurines and glass animals too.
His work was widely copied at the time but never equaled.
You may well come across what you think to be Lalique Art Deco Glass but these may well be copies from the 1930s.
I have found these in a number of French Antique Dealers ,Brocantes and Flea Markets.
They are nearly always sold as being Lalique even when they are patently not genuine Lalique Art Deco Glass.
Real Laliqe Art Deco Glass almost always bears an engraved signature.

Fakes usually have etched signatures because that is easier and cheaper to do.
The glass is usually right but the pieces are often moulded giving less detail and no sharp edges.
